$OLIFE: Saving Our Oceans the Decentralized Way
Our seas are declining in health from pollution, overfishing, warming, and the destruction of habitats. We are losing over 100 million marine animals each year from plastic wastes alone.
But all is not lost. We can still save our waters, sea animals, and planet in general.
$OLIFE is a deflationary, ARF-enabled, charity BEP20 token issued on Binance Smart Chain. Our main goal is to help ocean cleanup, stop illegal fishing practices, save the marine ecosystem by donating to multiple charities around the globe. The deflationary token has been designed to ease donations to multiple charities around the world.
The threat to marine life, the ocean, and humanity is a reality that we can’t wish away. We all know that ocean is the Earth’s life support, with 97% of the world’s water held by the ocean. Ocean waters regulate the climate that we depend on, absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2), and are the number one source of protein for over a billion people globally.
However, we are losing ocean life through pollution, warming, and overfishing at an alarming rate. The latest statistics show that approximately 12.7 million tons of plastics enter our ocean waters annually, and the damage we are subjecting to our marine ecosystem is turning out to be irreparable. Pollution is impacting our marine ecosystems and wildlife habitats in a big way. If the trend continues in the next 10 years we may have no marine life and the general ecosystem destroyed.
Although we have had a lot of awareness creation, the challenge with lack of funding to organizations working to save our planet is well documented. The old centralized methods of raising funds are unreliable, slow, expensive, and are lacking in transparency.
$OLIFE Token
The mission is to feed charities working to save our oceans from overfishing and the destruction of marine life. These charities have faced massive challenges getting financial resources to facilitate and support their ocean cleanup, stop illegal fishing practices, save marine life.
$OLIFE is a deflationary cryptocurrency designed to help fund organizations working to save our marine lives. 3% of the token will be distributed to holders, 4% to be sent to a charity, 2% burned automatically to increase the remaining token value, 2% set aside for marketing activities.
Our smart contract is already deployed on BSC Mainnet and includes ARF (Automated Reward Farming). Holders will be rewarded with $OLIFE based on the number of tokens one holds. That is, the more you hold, the higher the reward.
